FAQ's
Q: Do I need to make an appointment?
A: Advanced reservations are recommended for all spa services and are secured by a major credit card. You may request a female or male therapist, but we cannot guarantee the availability of a particular therapist. Rest assured, all of our therapists are trained with discreet draping techniques designed to respect your privacy.
Q: How do I change or cancel my appointment?
A: If you must change or cancel your spa appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled service time to avoid being charged. No-shows or cancellations within the 24-hour window will be charged 100% of the service. Packages may not be substituted. Room charges (when staying at Los Abrigados) and all major credit cards are accepted.
Q: What should I wear to the spa?
A: A spa robe, sandals, towels and a locker will be provided upon your arrival. We recommend that no jewelry be worn to the spa. Management accepts no responsibility for the loss of money or valuables.
Q: Should I tip my therapist?
A: An industry-standard gratuity will be added to all spa services, and you’re free to adjust the final amount. Please allow our receptionist to assist you. If you’re a resort Guest, you may charge the services to your room.
Q: Is there an age requirement to use the spa?
A: Guests must be 14 years or older to use the spa facilities. If under the age of 14, children must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
Q: What preparations do I need to make before my appointment?
A: Please check-in at the spa desk at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This will give you time to get settled before your treatment. Prior to your service, we suggest that you enjoy a 10-minute visit to the steam room, dry sauna or whirlpool to relax and loosen your muscles. We also recommend that you eat something light before your spa treatment.

If you’re having an exfoliation treatment, please leave your legs unshaven. For gentlemen scheduled for a facial, we recommend that you leave your face unshaven.

While it’s customary to completely disrobe for most spa services, please undress to your comfort level. Our therapists are trained to keep you draped at all times and respect your privacy.
